    Hello !

I am working on Blender to create our 3D objects and we wanted to have a transparent material but unfortunately when importing the FBX in the WB, the transparency isn’t working. (the transparency in working in the two 3D viewers I tried)

Here is my material’s settings on Blender :

Settings used in Blender for transparent material
Do you know if I did something wrong in my material ? Or is the transparency not working in the WB ?

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi Morgane,
I’ve tested this and the transparency doesn’t work when exporting objects in FBX format. It works when exporting in GLB.

I hope this works for you as well. Good luck!

    Hello !

Back on this subject : I manage to make my object look great in the World Builder thanks to GLB but when I start my project in the Portal Hopper the transparency is gone again. My material is same as shown in my previous message.

Is the only solution for me to just give up on the transparent image and make my barrier in full 3D ?

I recommend exporting the model in glb file format. As far as we know, this should work.

But it doesn’t work in the Portal Hopper.
I would love to show you pictures and send you the link to my GLB file but everytime I try to, my message is not being sent on the forum.
