Portal Hopper – VR Headset Setup

How to set up a Meta Quest 3 headset on Windows to work with Portal Hopper:

1. Install Meta Quest Link on your Windows machine.

Make sure your device meets the requirements to use Meta Quest Link:

2. Connect Headset with your computer via USB 3.0 cable and turn on the headset 

3. In the Meta Quest Link App on your computer make sure your headset is properly connected. If you click on the headset in the “Devices” section, you can use “Device Setup” to set up the connection. 

4. In the Meta Quest Link App go to Settings → General. Then enable “Unknown Sources”. The settings should look like this:

5. In the headset select Quest Link from the Settings Menu and connect to your computer. Launch Link to enter the Link space which will be visible on your headset. It should look similar to this:

6. Start Portal Hopper on your Windows machine

7. In Portal Hopper use F1 on your keyboard to switch to VR Mode and F2 or F3 to switch to Non-VR mode
